British Rowing will add a third day to its 2026 beach sprint national championships, that will now take place 4–6 September in Bournemouth. According to the British rowing federation, the number of rowers competing in 2025 compared to 2024 was 75% higher, and so it has extended the event to accommodate even more competitors this year.
Races will be split into two blocks, with the first set of disciplines hosting their time trials on Friday afternoon, and knockout rounds on Saturday morning. The second block will then run time trials on Saturday afternoon, and finals on Sunday.
