Rowing Canada Seeks Host Sites for National Beach Sprint Tour

Rowing Canada Aviron is calling for applications to host regattas for its 2026 National Beach Sprint Tour. The aim is for the tour to include at least three local events across the country, followed by a selection trial for the national team.

The goals of the series include not just creating more high-level beach sprint regattas in Canada, but also to raise the profile of the discipline and learn how to best run these events. Interested organizers are required to incorporate development opportunities, that could mean inviting spectators to try out the sport or running a pre-regatta camp for competitors.

The deadline for applications is 9 March, 2026. More information is available on the Rowing Canada Aviron website.
