Rowing Ireland Invites Everyone to Beach Sprints Upskilling Day

The Irish rowing federation is offering rowers from all ages, abilities and gender to take part in skills sessions at Lough Rinn in County Leitrim on 25 January. Three different sessions of 90 minutes will be offered, and the course is open to anyone, irrespective of whether they have previously competed in beach sprint.

However, there will only be places for 10 athletes per session, limiting the total number of rowers on the day to 30. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and so anyone interested is advised to apply as soon as possible (and before the deadline of 15 January).
