Canada’s rowing federation has launched a five-stop beach sprint tour that will take place across the country in June and August this year. The tour aims not just to increase the number of regattas in Canada, but also to help develop more athletes, coaches and race officials.
The 2026 RCA National Beach Sprint Tour will consist of:
- RowOn Beach Sprints Cup #1, 20 June, Port Dalhousie, Ontario
- Western Canada Beach Sprint Championships, 27-28 June, Victoria, British Columbia
- Beach Sprint Cap St-Jacques, 15-16 August, Québec, Ontario
- Nova Scotia Invitational Beach Sprints Regatta, 28-30 August, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia
- Cascadia Beach Sprints Championships, 29-30 August, Vancouver, British Columbia
