The Saudi Rowing Federation has converted its beach sprint national championships into an open competition, and hopes to welcome national and club teams from elsewhere in the Middle East, Asia or even farther afield.
This is the second year the competition will be run, but the first time it will be open to international rowers. The regatta will take place in Jubail, on the shores of the Persian Gulf, 6–7 February, and is being supported by Swift Racing.
Interested teams or athletes must submit preliminary entries by 15 January. For more information see the 2026 Saudi Open event page.
