Host Thailand Wins the Men’s and Women’s Solos at the 2025 SEA Games

In beach sprint’s debut at the South East Asian Games on Friday, host country Thailand swept both events. Thailand’s gold medalists were Siripong Chaiwichitchonkul (CM1x) and Parisa Chaempudsa (CW1x). Chaempudsa also won silver medals in both the women’s double and women’s quad rowing competitions earlier in the week. The result moved Thailand up to third place, ahead of Philippines, in the overall rowing medal standings.

Arni Silva Pattipeiluhu, from Indonesia, won silver in the women’s event, and Kristine Paraon, from Philippines, was awarded bronze. In the men’s competition, second place went to Moe Wai Yan, from Myanmar, and third place to Cris Nievarez, from Philippines.
