A team of under-17 athletes from French Polynesia won every event during an Olympic development camp held in Vanuatu 10–17 December.
Teranihere Pater and teammate Matuanui Tatarata came first and second, respectively, in both the girl’s 500m indoor test and in a full beach sprint competition. Elikaï Manuel and Mataiki Ah Scha also came first and second, respectively, in the boy’s 500m indoor test, and Manuel won on the beach. In an indoor team competition the four set the most distance, 4,629m, and the mixed double of Manuel and Pater won in the competition outside.
